HOW TO COOK FRESH PASTA?

  •  Keep the pasta in the freezer until you cook them.

  • Boil your water in a large pot – add salt (10g for each 100g of pasta). 

  • Remove the pasta from packaging and add them FROZEN in the boiling water. Stir well, bring the pasta water back to a boil, and cook for 1-2 minutes or until desired texture. (Note: Overcooking the pasta can make them break apart.)

  • Using tongs or slotted spoon, help the pasta detach in the water to prevent from sticking to itself when boiling. 

  • Add a cup of pasta water to a pan and mix with the sauce of your choice on medium heat.

  • Add the pasta to the pan and gently stir. Let it simmer together for a minute and serve. Bon Appétit!

HOW TO COOK RAVIOLI/FILLED PASTA?

  • Keep the ravioli in the freezer until you cook them. 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a slight boil and then reduce the heat to medium-low.

  • Gently drop the frozen ravioli in the pot, stir the water a bit so they can all smoothly detach and add salt. Let it cook in the simmering water for about 2-5 minutes. (Note: Cooking time will depend on the size of your pot, so keep an eye on it! - Overcooking the ravioli can make them break apart or open)

  • Using a slotted spoon or strainer spoon, remove the pasta from the water and add it a pan with butter or the sauce of your choice.

  • Let it cook together for a minute. Serve and enjoy! Bon Appétit! 

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE FRESH PASTA? 

KEEP REFRIGERATED: RAVIOLI & PASTA NEEDS TO STAY IN THE FREEZER UNTIL READY TO BE COOKED TO AVOID STICKINESS. 

CAN BE KEPT IN THE FREEZER UP TO 1 MONTH. No need to thaw out pasta before boiling. 

WHY ADDING SALT AND HOW MUCH?

Salt needs to be added once the water starts boiling or after adding the pasta in the water. This will prevent the water from taking too long to boil.

WHY ADDING PASTA WATER TO YOUR SAUCE?

The starch present in the pasta water added to your sauce is going to thicken it and will bind the pasta and sauce together.

WILL EATING PASTA MAKE ME GAIN WEIGHT?

No- Serving size for Fresh Pasta is about 110g which is about 300 calories. There is less than 4g of fat and it contains a lot of minerals.
Pasta will fill you up and avoid cravings.
